Type choices

Experimentation with type for the idents, using what was taught in the first type sessions, fitting a typeface with its content. A couple here are decorative (sorry graham) but just finding something that will work well with the ident.

Adding effects.

Beginning to add effects to the simple motion graphics, I want to add stutters, film grains and noise to the footage, and I have found it is best to add on the effects after the footage has been composed. Here is a little test from a tutorial found online for flickers..

Futura Anatomy - Homework

The first task of the OUGD204 type module. Find the anatomy of a particular typeface. I chose futura. Originally I was going to chose my favourite Serif Georgia, but I thought I'd give myself a challenge. It was such a difficult typeface to analyse because of its limiting obvious features.
